We’re delighted to announce that Anjali Generation has been recognised in the 2025 Clean + Conscious Awards — a celebration of excellence in products that are safe, ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible.
This year, our Anjali High Performance Jute Mat proudly received the Gold Award (Category: Best Yoga Mat and accessory), while our Anjali Luxury Cork Mat was honoured with the Silver Award (Category:Best Pilates and Movement).
The Clean + Conscious Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts who test every product for performance and integrity, while also evaluating their environmental and social impact. For a small, independent brand like ours, this recognition means the world.
Gold Award – The Anjali High Performance Jute Mat
Our Jute Mat was celebrated for its natural beauty, durability, and thoughtful design. The judges loved its eco-friendly credentials and grounding feel during practice, here's what the judges had to say:
Amy Landry admired the “perfect size” and “ideal amount of grip” while highlighting that the mat will “biodegrade back into the earth without causing any harm or leaving micro-plastics.” She also appreciated our “mindful use of jute” and commitment to “no plastics in delivery packaging.”
Emily Fletcher praised its “superb grip” and elegant simplicity, calling it “a pleasure to use.” She also acknowledged our broader mission: “Despite being a micro business [Anjali Generation] ensures a tree planted and plastic removed from the ocean with each purchase as well as supporting local charities. Highly recommended!”
Iasmim Nery described it as “a luxurious mat of outstanding quality,” loving its “excellent grip,” stability, and generous size. She added: “Every order rescues 5 plastics from the ocean and plants one tree.”
Silver Award – The Anjali Luxury Cork Mat
Our Cork Mat was recognised for its comfort, sustainability, and outstanding quality — a favourite among judges for Yin, Restorative, and everyday practice:
Melissa Mai loved its “thick cushioning and natural warmth,” saying it’s perfect for restorative styles of yoga. She admired its longevity and applauded the fact that our cork and rubber are “harvested without cutting down any trees, as opposed to toxic plastic that’s harmful to consumers and the planet.”
Emily Fletcher called it “an incredible mat which just feels so good to work out on.” She appreciated the rare, glue-free construction, “100% biodegradable” materials, and extra thickness for comfort. She also noted that our simple tip — misting cork lightly with water — “made a huge difference to the grip.”
Fiona Noonan praised its “quality and thickness” and said it’s “so grippy, much more than other cork mats I have used.” She loved its antimicrobial properties, elegant look, and absence of harsh chemical smells, adding: “The values they place on keeping this ethical and sustainable are very noteworthy.”
